The Tungnath Doli is a significant part of the spiritual and cultural heritage associated with the Tungnath Temple, located in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. It is part of the sacred journey that takes place every year, particularly during the Tungnath pilgrimage.

Tungnath, which is the highest Shiva temple in the world, stands at an altitude of 3,680 meters (12,073 feet) and is part of the famous Chota Char Dham circuit. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the five temples that make up the Panch Kedar pilgrimage in the state. The Doli tradition is an essential part of the pilgrimage experience, especially for those who may find it difficult to trek the challenging route.
